About Us

The main Ano - rectal specialty was established in the name of Sushruta Nursing Home at Vijayawada,
A. P., in the year 2000. This institution has got global reputation in performing non - surgical Ayurvedic specialized techniques, applied for treating the ano - rectal disorders like Piles, Fissures, Fistula etc, successfully with very least chances of recurrence.

Completed his medical graduation B.A.M.S ., batch of (1985- 1991) from Dr. N.R.S. Govt. Ayurvedic Medical College, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh and post graduation from the prestigious national Institution I.M.S. (Institute of Medical Sciences), B.H.U. ( Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi , Uttar Pradesh in the year 1996 in the specialty of SHALYA (GEN-SURGERY).

Dr.K.V.C. RAO has got very good experience of about 17 years in treating different ano-rectal diseases like PILES, FISSURES, FISTULA and many other ailments related to the PROCTOLOGY. He performs the most renowned specialized Ayurvedic techniques like kshara sutra (Application of medicated threads), Jalaukavacharana ( Leech Therapy), Kshara karma, Agni karma etc. in an innovative and scientific way for treating different ano-rectal conditions, as well as some of the general surgical problems very successfully.

Has dealt with and treated more than 4000 cases of different ano-rectal diseases like hemorrhoids, fistulas, fissures in ano and successfully treated many surgically failed cases with kshara sutra technics.

Participated in many national and international seminars and workshops, continuing medical education programs with the intention of updating latest technological breakthroughs , procedures and maneuvers in the field of proctology.

Conducted many screening camps ,free medical camps with the help of N.G.O.s like LIONS CLUB, ROTARY CLUBS etc. and conducted many free surgical procedures for the poor and needy patients.

Participated in many LIVE TV talk shows, Question & answer sessions on medical programs in Doordarshan, TV9 etc. and hosted many medical talk shows on F.M. STATION of All India Radio etc.
